Discover the design
of Austo
A truly
unique bottle
Inspired by the gentle curves of the hills on which our vineyards lie
Austo is an expression of the profile of Terre Cevico and of its identifying values, which manifest themselves in this project, represented by its characteristics of uniqueness, elegance, quality, and craftsmanship. Austo results from our desire to highlight Terre Cevico’s winemaking project in a custom-made bottle that is truly unique.

The design of the bottle reflects an elegance that is prestigious and refined, typical of the finest Italian tradition of craftsmanship: an expression of the art of savoir faire.

It is a design that is inspired above all by the landscape: the gentle curves of the hills on which our vineyards lie envelop the bottle in lines that are rounded yet strong. A shape inspired by wine itself, which is the fruit of our hard work on this land.

UNIQUENESS

A truly unique bottle that represents the distinctive qualities and values of Terre Cevico

ELEGANCE

Inspired by the prestigious and refined elegance of the Italian tradition of craftsmanship: sophistication and attention to detail in a unique design.

THE LAND

A design that is inspired above all by the landscape: the gentle curves of the hills on which our vineyards lie envelop the bottle in lines that are rounded yet strong.

THE WINE

A wine of unique character and Italian elegance. Our project involves both indigenous varieties, intimately linked to the terroir of Romagna, and international cultivars. A diversification that reflects dynamism and versatility, which finds a point of reference in our quest for wines of quality and great elegance.

The Name

The two lines that embrace the bottle convey dynamism, elegance, and authoritativeness. Hence the name, Austo. An abbreviation of Austero (“Austere”), this name is intended to underline the characteristics of austerity, rigor, dignity, elegance and uniqueness.

The Symbol

The symbol of Austo is laurel: an element that provides a clear reference to Italian classicism. Used in Ancient Rome as a symbol of victory and glory, it later become an emblem for wisdom in the Middle Ages: for this reason, we find it shown on the heads of Italy’s most illustrious poets and writers, such as Petrarch, Boccaccio, and Dante Alighieri.
